Old styles are new again. Mosiac tiles have been out of the spotlight for years but slowly with renewed taste and designer attention they are becoming more prevalent and a beautiful option for tile installations. This mosaic glass tile came from CarpetIsle Flooring American in Hilo. Here we have a master shower and roman tub featuring all glass mosaic tile. This shower features a roman tub. Instead of a standard tub unit we created a waterproof tub basin and tiled the interior. This shower also features epoxy grout which is far superior to standard cementitious grout. Epoxy grout doesn't need sealer and is less prone to mold infiltration and water damage. Custom tile trim fabrication was employed to finish the edges around the shower wall lines. Finally we finished the shower with a glass door installation.
